Miles Purinton has been working professionally as an actor since the age of five. As a child actor, he became well-known in the NYC theater scene for his ability to handle darker material. His interest in acting as a child turned into a passion in adulthood, and has pursued training to back up his considerable experience. He received a BA in drama from Kenyon College, and earned his MA from the renowned Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Throughout his career, he has worked with companies such as Second Stage, The New Group, Lincoln Center, Loading Dock Theatre, Penguin Rep, Drama League, and The Barrow Group, and with directors such as Lars von Trier, Moritz von Stuelpnagel, Sheryl Kaller, Joe Brancato, Evan Yionoulis, David Petrarca, and John DeLuca, and.

With a career spanning film, theatre, television, and radio, Miles has been a member of SAG-AFTRA, and AEA for over 20 years. Standout roles include Jason in Lars von Trier's acclaimed film Dogville, starring roles in world premiere plays by playwrights such as Lainie Robertson and Wendy Kesselman, and the voice of Charlie Brown in the first Peanuts merchandise to be approved by the Schulz estate after Charles Schulz's death.
